Underground Mining Business Surges for Immersive Technologies with Ten New Simulators in Development and More Underway

Underground sales for Immersive Technologies’ equipment simulators have seen a recent underground-mining-business-surges-for-immersivesurge leading to the development of 10 new underground simulator machine types. The company has seen a definite rise in customer’s need for their products and services over the last six months globally.

Immersive Technologies offer the largest range of simulated machines and they say the addition of new underground simulators aligns perfectly with the recent increase in demand for their underground products.

“We now have underground customers in Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Australia, Russia, the USA, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, and Indonesia who are ramping up their production and place a high value on safer and more productive operators through training. Our training solutions have been proven time and time again to deliver significant, quantifiable and audited results, which resonates with mining companies scrutinizing every expenditure,” says David Anderson, Executive Vice President – Sales and Support, Immersive Technologies.

Immersive Technologies is delivering multiple new underground simulator modules for Sandvik, Atlas Copco, Zephir and Caterpillar equipment, including some machines which are tele-remote.

“We offer the largest range of simulated mining machines and the addition of new underground simulators aligns perfectly with the recent increase in demand for our underground products,” Anderson says.

With simulators deployed at more than 270 major mining customer sites in 39 countries Immersive Technologies has the largest mining footprint of equipment simulators and their investment in underground is expected to continue to grow that achievement.
